During this volatile time in our history, we must be stronger, more supportive and in lock step with what we do as a people for our growth. Any family who has more than one child, has more than one branch on their family tree and one branch cannot shape the life or history of the other nor can they deny the root of the tree.
Frederick and Anna Douglass had FIVE (5) children Rosetta; Lewis Henry; Frederick Jr; Charles Remond and Annie (who died at age 9).
The Douglass Family needs to be concerned about promoting the great work of the great one, Frederick A. Douglass, and not spending time discrediting other family members. This is a major problem in African-American Families. Family members are the biggest detractors of other family members because of jealousy, envy, hatred and a fight for who’s on first. What a Shame! Except for Harriet Tubman, most famous families are in turmoil, at a time when we should all be together fighting for the betterment of our community. My family and I will not entertain this mess and to anyone who have time for nonsense.
